What has to be in order before installation
Setting a stone is technical work; getting permission to set it is administrative. Nearly every cemetery asks the applicant for an identity document, the death certificate and a record of the burial place. The exact list differs from one cemetery to the next, so we speak to the administration first.
All we ask of the family is the part nobody else can do: the original document and a signature. Everything after that, from filling in the application to clearing the equipment onto the grounds, is handled by our staff. We fix the work date once the permit is in hand.

Frequently asked questions
Which documents does the family need to provide?
In practice only originals: the death certificate, the applicant's identity document and, where one exists, a record confirming the burial place. Copying, filling in the application and lodging it with the administration are ours to do.
What if a document is lost or a name is misspelled?
This comes up often enough. We first establish which office issues the duplicate or corrects the entry, then tell the family where to go and in what order. Work on the stone itself does not pause while that is sorted out.
Is the paperwork charged separately?
The document work is agreed when the stone is ordered and written into one invoice; the final figure depends on the type of stone and on the cemetery. Published rates: transport in the city from 150 GEL, elsewhere 2.5 GEL per kilometre.
